Senator Ted Cruz of Texas swept all of the Colorado’s 34 delegates without any votes being cast by citizens in a traditional primary process.
Our voting process is rigged and is strategically based on delegate’s biases. Unfortunately it doesn’t have a whole lot to do with real voters except for the beginning of the process leading voters to believe that as United States citizens your vote will count. In the first phase states select either 1) a primary voting process; or 2) a caucus; or as in the State Of Colorado who chose 3) a state convention where people were chosen to fill the 34 delegates based on a one minute and a half speech stating why they should be selected. This sounds ludicrous and unbelievable. It’s easy to see where people’s biases and prejudice views influence each other and is not necessarily a representative of all the voters which is a large demographic population in the State of Colorado. Are we suppose to believe that the selection of these 34 delegates from the small number of party regulars at this convention represents the votes of the State of Colorado republicans? How can you possibly believe that all 34 delegates is a true representation of the people in this state. Now the question is how is it possible that the people of the great State of Colorado never got to vote in the Republican Primary?
Senator Ted Cruz of Texas swept all of the Colorado’s 34 delegates without any votes being cast by citizens in a traditional primary process.
So here are voters in the State of Colorado with this disappointing truth and the GOP is in a desperate state of survival and mode of operation where some are supporting Ted Cruz who they never liked or got along with him in the first place. They are scared of Donald Trump now posing a real threat to break up the GOP party. But because of GOP’s continual opposition and how hard they fought against the President these last eight years it was their undoing they have no one else but to blame themselves.
Here are the obvious red flags Ted Cruz supported and contributed to the government shutdown in 2013. We mustn’t forget the outcry for such a selfish and unprofessional decision. This reflected upon our country very poorly leaving us all to question their competence. Incapable of passing a budget for America to continue to survive and not thrive. Second, Representative Peter King said Ted Cruz is a fraud, a phony and even more alarming Ted Cruz told a Dr. Seuss story on the senate floor. Someone who is elected to be president should know the separation of church and state and therefore be able to rationally and reasonably make serious decisions affecting the people of the United States.
I imagine that the republican people in the State of Colorado not supporting Ted Cruz are on pins and needles feeling helpless and cheated. Republican senators and governors are coming up for reelection and no one is really saying much. I am imagining a real game of chess on the senate floor whether a pond, rook, bishop, or a knight will strategically be placed until check mate. The pond, a front shield taking the fall. The rookie, placed accordingly to thrash across the board in this case the senate floor. Oh and the Bishop clearly strategically resonating with those who cannot separate church from state within reason, rational, and fairness. Hoping the valiant knight can save the party behind the mask of a steel shield not revealing his true identity.
We all think differently and that’s a blessing but at some point you start to make judgments based on your experiences. Church, State, and history has been a contributing factor in the past for election processes and not always positive in the present campaigning process. In this case reasoning, rational, and fairness starts to rise in your conscience (or at least it should) and that’s when you want more for others to have that opportunity to vote and prosper. It’s not about power and control which is all the GOP seems to stand for and lacking the real empathy and clarity to represent the republican people. Having the real empathy and clarity takes guts, experience, and leadership. Mr. Sanders perhaps leads like Moses in the Ten Commandments forging ahead to win and implement the rules, regulations, laws and policies of how we change and include every human life in this country to help, grow, and prosper. Then, and only then can this become a new and refreshing perspective and a perpetual way of thinking and will be passed on through generations. The millennials are showing great promise and they don’t judge each other based on color and ethnicity. They embrace enriched ethnic diversities and therefore with their education they will make all the difference.
But why are those still judging someone based on their color and ethnic background. Everything we are and have comes from this earth. Color is just the pigment under skin, everything is exactly the same.
Start your day that when you look at someone try not to think of them as being different. Recognize them for them, another human being, a person, and practice this.
“Follow me,
Follow me
Way into
And across the sea,
The forest, and the trees
And along the way
They were born
And everything made
Came from the earth and sea.”
