Once upon a time,
There were two little girls.
One named Goldilocks
The other named Brownlocks.
Each went for a walk.
Brownlocks had
All the freedom
In the world.
No, she couldn’t drive,
Nor fly a plane.
Because she was only four.
Each little girl
Came upon a house.
Each knocked and no answer
At the door.
Each decided to peek inside
And then walked right in.
One house belonged
To the three bears.
The other
An abandoned house
That belonged to the Burnettes.
Each little girl was hungry.
Goldilocks found
Three bowls of porridge
And had a party!
Brownlocks
Found three characters
In her make believe story.
One, was she,
The other was Mrs. Burnette.
Who was very friendly and nice
Though Mr. Burnette was
Taking an eternal nap
For a very long time.
He was now a spirit!
Goldilocks wanted to seat
And rock in the little chair.
Which was just right for her!
Brownlocks got into the chimney
With her brand new
White fur coat and hat.
Soon she was full of soot.
She tried to wipe it off
But it wouldn’t come off.
Goldilocks decided to
Jump on the three beds.
Remember,
She was having a party all to herself
Then she feel asleep
On baby bears bed.
Brownlocks was getting
Tired and hungry.
She entered
Her favorite
Grandmother’s house.
And Mama Bear
Screamed “Natalie!”
Looking at all the soot
On her brand new
White fur coat…
No, not the end…Only the beginning!
