Good Day NatsWritings.com readers I hope everyone is starting a glorious day on Monday on the right foot. I love these idioms and every time I remember one I get a chance to share it. Like the one I happened to glance at by chance, “It takes one to know one” while I was doing some investigative research on our Democratic Presidential Nominee. Oh God Helps Us with this woman! Ugh!
I had the opportunity to watch a very delightful movie last night in my home, cozy and warm. I love the evenings, just about the time the day light turns into a gloaming ubiquitous twilight. My whole body just relaxes. I’m sure you have a part of your day that you enjoy the most. Anyway back to the movie allow me to play a trailer for you of the movie “Trumbo”.
It’s a fascinating story of the cold war and what that meant to many American people who risked their whole professional reputation making a choice to be a Communist, of course against our Democratic government. Trumbo was a wonderful talented writer and he stood for his beliefs and he managed in the end to die with the respect and gratitude he deserved regardless of his personal choices.
In 1947, Dalton Trumbo was Hollywood’s top screenwriter until he and other artists were jailed and blacklisted for their political beliefs. The film recounts how Dalton used words and wit to win two Academy Awards and expose the absurdity and injustic of “the judgement of fools.” That’s my quote, “Judgement of fools”.
I want to wish everyone a great day and remember you only live once, so we have to make the best of it, every single glorious day. I certainly am trying.
