Good Day NatsWritings.com Readers. “What Remains To Be Said” Part VI is now available to read under category “A Past”. I want to wish everyone a happy and safe weekend.
I know. I am also thinking of the families of those who died in this week’s turmoil. I imagine they are all still in shock. No one ever expects the sudden news of a loved one being shot to death as the target of gunfire; the Black American men and the Dallas police officers who lost their lives.
It’s a lot of hard facts to digest and understand in America’s turmoil. Then there is the added turmoil of other countries like ourselves where ISIS continues to terrorize and kill innocent people in Syria, Baghdad, Turkey, Bangladesh, and now Saudi Arabia. I imagine that the King of Authority, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is not happy with ISIS for attacking their own land and peaceful Islamic cities and places of worship. England declaring their independence through Brexit in turn affecting the world economy and also a victim of ISIS terrorist attacks.
All this stems from a culmination of hurtful and bad feelings starting in households where there is no validation as human beings, probably since their youth. In many of these households fathers are no longer present. Families are going through emotional and even physical abuse where often there is addiction adding to the disfunctionalism.
We don’t talk about the things that really affect us deep down inside. Hardly any of us do. Without that, you’re not really addressing the problems in our households globally preventing those who through the anger and turmoil then turn to violence in ways of coping, belonging.
You read about Rio de Janiero in Brazil over extending themselves financially to complete the Olympic summer events to be held in August, 2016. While the Brazilian people in poverty are suffering in this city now polarizing and segregating them from those who have prospered through education and opportunities to fulfill one’s personal destiny and purpose. “Our worlds are not that far apart; being human makes it so.” Regardless of our ethnic backgrounds and titles we are all the same by default; to be a human being. But to be a true human being you have to learn to leave your pride by the door and extend your help and acceptance of others. This seems to be harder than it has to be.
