Turkey has identified the three suicide bombers involved in the terrorist attacks at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport, the third busiest airport in Europe.
Turkey bombers from Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan:
“The fact that these three suicide bombers come from three separate countries demonstrates how ISIS has infiltrated many other countries around the world. First the three terrorists opened fire to create a panic among those who trying to escape the deadly automatic assault weapons that were fired at the people. Fortunately the gun fire served as a pre-warning for those who were able to scatter and run from the explosions. Had there not been gun fire before the bombings more people would have died because they were congregated together as soft targets, not aware of the imminent danger that was about to erupt.” ©Natalie Keshing
“Because of the ongoing investigation officials have to be very careful not to giveaway any information to be public that would tip off other individual terrorists involved in this attack.” ©Natalie Keshing
“Medical workers are still trying to identify those people who are injured and those who died to officially contact family members with the grim news of their loved ones. The death toll has now risen to 43. ©Natalie Keshing
“These are crucial days for the Turkish police special forces to identify as quickly as possible the remaining cells within Turkey that were most likely the masterminds as far as creating and attaching the bombs to the suicide bombers involved.” ©Natalie Keshing
“Turkish police detained 13 people, four of them foreigners, in raids across Istanbul in connection with Tuesday night’s attack. Broadcaster CNN Turk said they were accused of providing logistical support for the bombings.”
“Counter-terrorism teams led by police special forces launched simultaneous raids at 16 locations in the city, two officials told Reuters.”
“Yeni Safak said the organizer of the attack was suspected to be a man called Akhmed Chatayev, of Chechen origin. Chatayev is identified on a United Nations sanctions list as a leader in Islamic State responsible for training Russian-speaking militants, and as wanted by Russian authorities.”
