Good day readers it is Thursday November 10, 2016. A lot has transpired and come to pass after election day November 8, 2016.
A glimpse of this morning’s events after election 2016: President Obama invited President elect Trump for a meeting of the minds that took place at the White House today; while First Lady Michele Obama gave First Lady elect Miliana Trump a tour of the White House.
The meeting with President Obama and President Elect Trump lasted for at least an hour and a half; it was just between the two of them. After the meeting they meet with reporters and cameramen to briefly discuss their opinion of the meeting. President Elect Trump was very pleased to meet with President Obama and said that the meeting could have even lasted longer; indeed a good sign.
President Obama said it was his and First Lady Michele Obama’s priority to help the new President Elect Trump and his family make a smooth transition into their new leadership roles and of course living at the White House.
After that monumental and impressive meeting a meeting took place between President elect Trump, Vice-President elect Mike Pence with House Speaker Paul Ryan. It was said that House Speaker Paul Ryan’s office is one of the grandest offices in Congress. I can just imagine, a little opulence make’s a grand statement. I’m envisioning a dark mahogany desk, a window with a phenomenal view, gold drapery, an antique chandelier and rich red carpet or maybe midnight blue.
Let’s see if I can find a picture on the internet..Very nice indeed.
Surrogates of President elect Trump like Rudy Giuliani and Newt Gingrich have been making the rounds on mainstream media briefly mentioning, hinting who in President elect Trumps circles will take positions in the cabinet seats, heads of organizations, Chief of Staff and other important positions that will makeup the new President’s administration.
We can all look forward to the coming Presidential inauguration on January 20, 2017 and the inaugural balls that will take place in the evening. I voted for President Obama twice and I was very proud of his accomplishments and I still remember the feeling when I saw him and Michele walk hand and hand and wave at the crowds; I was so proud for him and so was most of America.
It is a new day, everyday, to look forward to. Thank you for reading at NatsWritings.com I truly appreciate your time and visit at NatsWritings.com
Oh, one other thing, I’m not going to pretend that I am not pleased that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did not win for Commander-in-Chief. I didn’t think she would. My wish or advise is that young protesters that protested last night in New York City, Chicago and other cities exercising their first amendment rights, which I certainly understand; that they take a little time to read under my column Election 2016. To inform themselves and why I a long time Democrat didn’t allow my decision to be based on a party affiliation nor the fact that Hillary Clinton was a woman. I think most of you who read at NatsWritings.com under the column Election 2016 knew exactly what I based my decision and vote on.
Let me wish you great day and stay tune for more articles based on world events, global and diverse beautiful people all over the world, science, technology, music, art and of course Breaking News. Thank you again.
