In Memory of Bill Paxton: a Wonderful Actor.
“You tell them I’m coming and Hell’s coming with me, Ya hear, Hell’s coming with me.” ~ Wyatt Earp
I don’t think most of us will forget Bill Paxton’s performance in the movie Tombstone. His chemistry as Morgan, who was brother to Wyatt Earp played by Kurt Russell and Doc Holiday played by Val Kilmer was extremely phenomenal. One of the best western movies; if not “The Best Western” movie.
Of course, I highly recommend that those of you who haven’t seen Tombstone, you’re in for a real treat for how the western genre of our history dealt with those who carried a gun and could shoot you dead and run off into the sunset. I think everybody was packing back then. If you were a “Bad Dude” sooner or later the consequences of being just plain old “BAD” would eventually catch up with you.
It was a complete surprise when I searched for Bill Paxton’s performance as Morgan in the Movie Tombstone that selected his performance after Morgan who had been shot and during his surgery in the movie they tried to save his life ( The irony of life ~ Natalie) His brother Wyatt Earp was going to revenge his brother’s death.
“TOMBSTONE is the classic tale, slightly fictionalized of course, of legendary lawmen Wyatt Earp and his gun swinging gambling buddy; the notorious gentleman Doc Holiday. Together Wyatt, Holiday, and Earp’s two brothers, Morgan and Virgil, will wine, dine, gamble, and mine their way into the likes of the recent boomtown Tombstone. But when organized crime infiltrates the city in the name of ‘Cowboys’, it seems the once retired Earp will once more heed his moral obligation to restore justice and order to the growing town of Tombstone with the help of his brothers, and Holiday. But of course there will have to be some notorious showdowns, verbal banter, saloon scenes, and a lot of wily Cowboys first!”
The cast includes: Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Sam Elliot, Bill Paxton, Dana Delany, Powers Boothe, Dana Wheeler-Nicholson, and Michael Beihn.
