The Global Threat of ISIS
First A Horrific Explosion in Baghdad on July 3rd, 2016:
A refrigerator loaded with explosives on a truck exploded in Baghdad on Saturday July 3rd. One man interviewed said, “We came to the shopping market to buy clothes, now we are buying coffins.” A continuation of discovering people’s lifeless dead bodies is still underway in Baghdad. Such a tragedy for innocent people going about a normal day.
ISIS has increased its bombings to soft target areas now all over the world, where there are numbers of congregated people including those traveling to foreign nations wanting to experience other people’s cultures, their food and hospitality throughout the world. Bringing this last horrific attack in Baghdad where the death toll rises to more than 175 people, 200 wounded and 37 still missing, added to the 43 in Turkey and 20 hostages killed in Bangladesh.
Three separate suicide bombings occurred in cities across Saudi Arabia which took place in Jidda at a US Consulate, near a Prophet’s Mosque in the holy city of Medina, and the last at a Shiite mosque in the country’s east area. Total suicide bombing deaths were four guards.
ISIS attacking in Saudi Arabia is new territory, perhaps speculation that ISIS might have attacked Saudi Arabia for condemning ISIS’ horrific bombings and killings throughout the world. ISIS raising their ubiquitous specter with these horrific attacks trying to destabilize tourism in all these peaceful countries.
There are numerous celebrations in the United States with firework displays celebrating the 4th of July. People should take extra precautionary measures and always be aware of their surroundings, looking out for anybody carrying a back pack or wearing conspicuous clothing potentially hiding a gun or an automatic weapon. Please be safe.
We would like to extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to all the families in all these soft target bombings and shootings that took place this weekend that have lost a dear and loved one.
