11/21/16 News bites through Fox News and CNN:
It is important to note that mainstream media is suffering a massive credibility crisis due to the immense coverage and support for former Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, And their avoidance of coverage of her criminal enterprise.
It was a smart move for President-elect Trump to move the location from Trump Tower to Bedminster, NJ to conduct more interviews and meetings with those he is getting to know and consider for his cabinet leadership in his new Presidential administration.
There were four separate shootings of police officers in 4 separate cities over 24 hours. All attacks appeared to specifically target police officers. The question is, “Why are ambushes rising against police officers?” The chief of police of San Antonio, Texas believes the shooting of a police officer in his state was targeted. The suspect went into the police station and carried on a normal conversation with a person in the police station before he left and later shot a police officer.
“A Holocaust” in Syria.” Rescuers say this week is, “the heaviest bombardment in the city of Aleppo since the war began 5 years ago.” The explosions are like clockwork in rebel east Aleppo; everyday, all day. Survivors called it the worst bombings in five years. The regime strikes in the past week have killed more than 300 people in Aleppo. Many people feel tired, hopeless and feel abandoned. A reporter from CNN on the phone counted 17 strikes in a brief 14 minute phone call with a young man, Ismail Alabdullah who is in Aleppo trying to survive this holocaust. More than a quarter of a million people don’t trust the humanitarian corridors who might try to trick and lure people for food and water to stay alive. This additional problem increases the insurmountable maelstrom of the most violent and non-stop war.
Call President-elect Trump magnanimous perhaps generously forgiving the insults from the very men he is considering to fill his cabinet’s leadership. Over the weekend in Bedminster, New Jersey President-elect Trump met with rivals, loyalists and Democrats. Considering even putting a Democrat like Representative Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii in his cabinet. In a terse and poignant statement, Tulsi Gabbard spoke openly of her views regarding war and other subject matter that was discussed during her meeting and interview with President-elect Trump.
“Mad Dog” James Mattis is being considered for US Secretary of Defense. President-elect Trump said, “He is the real deal and has what it takes.” James Mattis is a retired United States Marine Corps General who last served as the 11th commander of United States Central Command from August 11, 2010 to March 22, 2013. Mattis is known for implementing the COIN strategy. During one public speaking engagement General Mattis said, “It’s a privilege to be invited to speak in front of polite company after the things I’ve said.”
Major General James Spider, a military analyst said, “He would be cautious and is a no nonsense leader.” Robert Baer, former CIA operative said, “He is a great choice.” Also Vice President-elect Mike Pence was asked about the issue of re-instating waterboarding and other extreme tactics. Mike Pence said, “We won’t rule out torture in the Trump era.”
Radio host and Fox News contributor Laura Ingraham and President-elect Trump’s Campaign Manager Kellyanne Conway are being considered for White House Press Secretary.
There has also been a lot of controversy surrounding President-elect Trump’s choice of appointing Breitbart’s Steve Bannon as the White House Chief Strategist. Some say he is very very smart. He’s quiet and has been judged unfairly based on Breitbart’s reputation.
Breitbart has a long track record of publishing articles that disparage minorities and women. Consider, for example, these Breitbart headlines: “Why Equality and Diversity Departments Should Only Hire Rich, Straight White Men,” “Here’s Why There Ought to Be a Cap on Women Studying Science and Maths,” “Would you rather your child had feminism or cancer?” and “Gay Rights Have Made Us Dumber, It’s Time to Get Back in the Closet.”
If this is true and how Mr. Bannon truly feels towards Americans who are not only White but Brown, Black, Asian, Gay, Straight, multi-ethnic and a large majority of women who are part of the working force, then his inherently prejudice views will eventually come to a boil. Sparking a feud with other cabinet members and staff that is sure to to put pressure on President-elect Trump’s choices. If Mr. Bannon’s vision and advice to President-elect Trump is to include ALL American citizens who deserve to prosper equally from good policy choices and implementations then there really shouldn’t be a problem in the foreseeable future. We will all have to wait and see.
