About Natalie Keshing
A tragedy occurred last night. An airplane carrying the Brazilian Chapecoense soccer team crashed near the city of Medellin, Columbia overnight. Killing 71 on board including several members of the Fox sports team in Brazil.
Six people on board did survive. A video on board showed the soccer team mates all smiles and happy young men looking forward to the Copa Sudamericana against Atletico Nacional at the Medellin finals. Just minutes before they were scheduled to land the plane slammed into the mountains and disintegrated into thousands of pieces.
A horrific scene while medical medics and rescuers were working through the night in mud and rain trying to help the six survivors. The plane departed from Santa Cruz, Bolivia going to Medellin, Columbia when at 10:00 pm the pilots declared an electrical emergency. What was to be a celebration turned into tragedy. The two black boxes on board were recovered in perfect condition.
We extend our condolences and prayers to the families of their loved ones. They were all young men looking forward to a continued bright future.
