Officials in New York and Los Angeles on Thursday said they hoped President-elect Donald Trump would not follow through on a campaign promise to withhold federal funds from “sanctuary cities” that shield people who are in the country illegally.
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said at a news conference in New York he would continue to defend undocumented illegal immigrants.
“We are not going to sacrifice a half million people who live among us, who are part of our community,” de Blasio said. Referring to an estimate number of unauthorized illegal immigrants living in New York. “We are not going to tear families apart.”
Mayor De Blasio of New York City said they would do everything in their power to protect the Mexican families in his city. Sarah Huckabee pointed out illegal citizens who have repeated crime records have to go back to their birth country. This is a federal immigration law to protect the citizens of the United States from illegal criminals who have committed serious crimes in the United States. Sanctuary cities receive substantial federal aide in grants for the Mexican population in these sanctuary cities. Mayor of Santa Fe, NM also a sanctuary city said, when they make an arrest in the city they don’t ask if the person is an illegal immigrant.
It is somewhat troubling that illegal criminal immigrants have more rights and protection than the people who are citizens of the United States.

At some point in your life you get to a point where wise choices determines the rest of your fate, aside from impulsiveness and not following your instincts in the first place. Now I am constantly asking my natural instincts, “What do you really think? Give it to me straight. Dare she lie.” ~ Natalie Keshing

Justice can go after Hillary with no input from Trump. Let’s get back to having an independent Judiciary.
— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) November 22, 2016
If the FBI and AG pursue Hillary independently, it will be justice. If Trump involves himself, it loses it’s teeth as a political hit.
