Good day readers, I have been anxious to get back to you and report on all the latest and greatest.
Let’s get right to the nitty gritty. The Republican National Convention is off to a great start. Melania Trump came out looking just gorgeous in the off white dress that cost over $2,000 dollars; I think it was well worth it. No, I am not one of those women who is jealous and envious of another woman’s beauty. I love the form and beauty of all women. Melania looked absolutely stunning and “The Donald” looked very proud of her; as he well should be. He picked not only a beautiful woman to be his wife but an intelligent and elegant lady who makes being a mother to their son Baron her first priority. I do like her demeanor, her frankness, and her elegance. There were a lot news articles pointing out all the negative they could conjure up; nitpicking. They went as far as accusing Melania Trump of plagiarism, stating she had copied her speech from our First Lady Michele Obama’s eight years ago. I thought that was petty and ridiculous. I read the comparisons and I thought they were stretching the truth by all their imaginations; with less than good reviews for this elegant lady. But I suspect those kinds of remarks really had more to do with Donald Trump and his behavior throughout his campaign. Trying to attack Donald Trump through his family is NOT A GOOD IDEA. The truth is name calling and labeling really doesn’t sit well with your constituents and the American people when running for President.
I watched the 60 Minutes interview by Leslie Stahl interviewing Donald Trump and his Vice-Presidential pick Mike Pence, Governor of Indiana. I think Donald Trump picked a great candidate for his Vice President. Mike Pence can speak extremely well, eloquent is the word. He has a calming affect not only on The Donald but to his reviewers as well. At least that’s the way I felt. This interview was another opportunity for the political analysts and news anchors to pick apart the two men who may very well become the next President and Vice President of the United States. Donald Trump surrounds himself with great people, his Vice-Presidential pick Mike Pence, his beautiful and gracious wife Melania, all his grown children who show integrity and their great love and respect for their father. I imagine that most of his campaign people are just as talented.
But some of us are concerned with Mr. Trump’s salacious and offending rhetoric. As a woman, I am not offended by his name calling of certain people; I just don’t like it. What I am offended with and I take very seriously is his racial innuendos, disparaging, polarizing and targeting the Hispanic and Mexican American people of the United States. Here is where I would like to see Donald Trump improve and change his heart. Excluding all our titles, egos, and pride, we all have a right to walk on this earth, regardless of the pigment under our skin. There are many of us who are concerned about future ISIS terrorist attacks. This group of devils who claim to be Muslim, Islam, and SANE. ISIS has done a great disservice to the real peace abiding people who are Muslim and practice their faith religiously and contribute to society as a whole. This is what we have to remember that a couple of bad apples shouldn’t have to ruin the bushel.
We have to remember and remind ourselves that there are bad people of every faith, color, and ethnicity. Most of the 255 soft target shootings here in America have been white men, one Asian, 2 Muslim men, and a few black American men. The commonality of all these soft target shooters is their mental instability and the anger they carry fuels them to commit such atrocities.
